About Us

Tar Éis Óir is an association for people who have completed and are participating in the President’s Gold Award. The society, which was originally founded in 1994 aims:

. To support the President’s Award in the further development of the Award scheme.
. To provide a forum for the views of Award holders on Award related matters to be sought and passed on to Council.
. To encourage Gold Award holders to become President’s Award Leaders.
. To establish links with award holders internationally.
. To provide members with social and other activities for their continued personal development.

The journey, the personal development and the adventures shouldn’t cease with this recognition… in fact, Tar Éis Óir feel this should be only the beginning!
