* Through these trips we have continued the spirit of the Award. We include aspects of the four sections of the Award;

o Cross-border trip involving Duke of Edinburgh Award holders
o Helping the community of the Isle of Innisfree

What we’d like to do…

* Continue arranging social events
* Five members of Tar Éis Óir are planning an expedition to Addis Abbaba, Ethiopia to volunteer in an orphanage for handicapped or abandoned children, with a view to establishing links for others involved in Gaisce
* Set up a website for ease of communication with Award holders around the country and internationally
* To bring our experience of the Award to the Gaisce Council by having a Tar Éis Óir representative on the Council.
